Do get in touch to discuss any of these questions.
How often should our HUB be open?
This will depend very much on the number of host homes and refugees in your community. However, to have a couple of days when the hub is advertised as being open for about two hours initially might be a good place to start.
If you use your physical HUB and your virtual HUB in tandem, then most questions can be answered via the Facebook Page or Messenger tool and most arrangements for meeting for specific ways to help can be arranged via Messenger too.
To have a poster on the outside of your HUB with opening times and FB address would be helpful.
How many volunteers should we have when we are open?
The minimum number of volunteers should be two working together, not separately and one must have a current DBS with the Church you are hosting in.
When you are running the HUB you should stay in the HUB and not take people off to other places. Those kinds of trips need to be arranged in advance.
